Jan McKim
Training

20 years experience in horse training and rider
coaching, having started
training Arabian
and Dressage horses in 1982.

in coaching Junior and Amateur riders from beginner to

competition levels.

under saddle in both English and
Western disciplines.
· Jan and her clients have received numerous
National Championships and
Regional Championships including Canadian National Hunt
Seat Champion
(Equitation 13 and under) for two consecutive years.

Burgi
Rommel
Burgi
Rommel is an Equine Canada certified Level 2 Dressage
coach and a Horse Council of B.C. recorded judge for
Dressage and Hack. She has been in the horse business
full time for 30 years and specializes in
Dressage.
Born
and raised in Germany, Burgi achieved Bronze Medallion
recognition in her homeland before immigrating to Canada
in 1975. With the help of numerous mentors throughout
her career, she has trained horses to the PRIX ST GEORGE
level and has won numerous Championships and
recognitions as well as bronze medallion in the Dressage
Canada achievement program.
Burgi has
worked extensively with the late Dietrich von Hopfgarten
and Eleonore Elstone as well as enhancing her extensive
knowledge-base and experience through clinics from Inez
Propfe Credo, Charles de Kunffy and Col. Christian Carde.
Studying
the art of Dressage throughout her life has enabled
Burgi to develop a training system that maintains the
integrity of body, mind and spirit of both horse and
rider.
Rayme McMahon
Rayme is an Equine Canada certified coach who has been
involved with horses for over 30 years. She was a Pony
Clubber in her youth then started with Dressage and has
run her own Dressage stable including taking care of
Canada Games and Pan Am horses.
She has trained and
competed horses successfully up to the FEI levels with
many Championships along the way. She now focuses on
training riders to achieve their own success at shows
both locally and beyond. She also prepares riders to
compete at High Performance Provincial and Canadian
National Youth competitions giving them the tools to go
as far as they wish with their own goals.
Rayme has trained with the late Dietrich von Hopfgarten,
Cindy Ishoy, and her long time coach, Andrea Taylor.
Rayme is an accepted coach with the Albrecht Heidemann
Junior/Young Rider program preparing our youth to
compete Nationally and Internationally with the goal of
representing Canada on the Podium.
